The Web Solutions Engineer is an integral part of our Digital Information Delivery team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.

 

Compensation range for this position is $115,000.00 -$145,000.00

 

 

Position Details

The Web Solutions Engineer is a key member of our Digital Information Delivery team and will work remotely, preferably from Florida or New Jersey. The position requires up to 10% travel as needed.

 

This role involves collaborating with the offshore web & mobile team, business sponsors, and stakeholders to design, develop, test, implement, and support web and mobile apps. This role requires to configure, operate, secure, automate, and continuously improve Phibro’s public web and mobile platforms. Enable development teams with CI/CD, environments, and guardrails. You will manage domains/DNS and SSL, WordPress on AWS (EC2/Apache/Linux/MySQL), WordPress with custom theme development, deployment hygiene and pipelines and security/compliance integrations. You’ll also handle user provisioning and vendor coordination for mobile and SaaS tools.

 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Own domain/DNS setup, SSL/TLS lifecycle, AWS administration (EC2, Route 53, load balancers), and Amazon SES for transactional email.
  • WordPress administration
  • Support .NET, MAUI apps and third-party web platforms; provide technical assistance to customer facing applications as needed.
  • Audit admin accounts, manage user deprovisioning, and enforce security best practices.
  • Mobile enablement to coordinate mobile build/release pipelines, store provisioning/certificates, and vendor handoffs; familiarity with .NET MAUI and native build chains is a plus.
  • Gather requirements, coordinate with vendors, and develop end-user training materials.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of IT industry experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in web application development, infrastructure management, or DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • AWS services (EC2, Route 53, Load Balancers, SES).
    • Domain/DNS management and SSL/TS certificate lifecycle.
    • WordPress administration (core, plugins, security hardening).
  • Familiarity with:
    • Mobile app frameworks (e.g., .NET MAUI or similar).
    • SaaS tools; third-party web platforms.
    • Microsoft 365 Applications (e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate)
  • Strong understanding of web security best practices and compliance.
  • Proven experience in coordinating complex processes involving multiple cross-functional teams; strong troubleshooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
