Phibro's PhibroChem & Ferro divisions are leading suppliers of specialty chemicals to the US and European markets.
Position Details
The position will be primarily accountable for maintaining business and driving growth for PhibroChem’s product lines. The role will consist of maintaining existing accounts but with a focus on seeking, prospecting, qualifying, and landing new business. The position will be an integral part of the Sales & Marketing team and will be a valuable resource in the marketing effort to expand the product portfolio in targeted segments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance: Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted plans ideally within each business segment.
New Business: This position is intended to qualify prospects and develop new customer and new product sales.

Develop new accounts through prospecting, and cold calls. Introduce PhibroChem and explain the value of company’s products to potential customers.

Follow up and report on prospective leads

Develop and execute strategies for prospects to become customers.

Participate in company sponsored trade shows.
Current/Existing Customers: Position will have direct responsibility and sole accountability for existing accounts in assigned territory. These accounts will cross several industries.

Plan and schedule sales calls to existing customers to solicit orders, maintain established relationships, render continuing service and answer inquiries and complaints.

Maintain key technical contacts with customers.

Provide support as necessary to customers. Gain product knowledge as needed to provide technical expertise.

Collect data and maintain accurate account records through written reports.
Marketing Support (Territory): Develop contacts that help build personal market knowledge.

Report on markets and territory as related to Phibrochem products and applications.

Provide competitor intelligence including products and sales policies.

Develop market/territory analysis as requested to support business needs.

Be an active participant in the business team
Administrative, Planning and Other: Manage territory responsibilities and other commitments.

Establish and maintain call patterns that meet company objectives.

Develop and provide technical knowledge of assigned products and service applications to better serve the customer.

Sell using team approach and perform special assignments as required.

Complete all reporting functions including written call reports, weekly and territory reports, and expense reports on a timely basis.

Provide input to establish annual territorial objectives, with alignment from the business GM. Monitor and report progress on objectives. Implement changes or corrective action to adjust sales tactics as needed to meet objectives.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in science, ideally Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or minimum 5 years related experience.
- 5 years of industry experience in sales roles.

Experience with, or willingness to learn, Customer Relation Management (CRM) software.
