The Source 2 Pay - Global Process Owner & COE Lead is an integral part of our Management team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.

 

Position Details

The Source to Pay (S2P) Global Process Owner & Procurement Center of Excellence Lead is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the global S2P process across the organization. This role will manage procurement processes, system administration, master data management, purchase order management, and data analytics. The Global Process Owner will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, standardization, and compliance in procurement operations, while the Center of Excellence (CoE) focuses on implementing best practices, continuous improvement, and leveraging data analytics for strategic decision-making. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, standardized, and compliant global procurement operations through optimized Source to Pay processes, advanced data analytics, and a high-performing Procurement Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic leadership, process expertise, and technical proficiency to enhance procurement efficiency and drive value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, standardization, and optimization of global Source to Pay processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices across regions.
  • Establish and lead the Procurement CoE, focusing on continuous improvement, process optimization, and the deployment of best practices. 
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of procurement-related systems. 
  • Lead global master data management initiatives to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all procurement systems. 
  • Oversee and streamline global purchase order processes, ensuring compliance, timeliness, and accuracy. 
  • Develop and manage procurement analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights into spend, supplier performance, and process efficiency. 
  • Work closely with regional procurement teams, finance, IT, and other departments to ensure S2P processes are aligned with broader business objectives. 
  • Ensure global S2P processes comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to procurement processes and data management.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure end users understand and follow standardized S2P processes. 
  • Collaborate with system vendors to manage performance, service levels, and continuous improvement efforts. 
  • Drive alignment of procurement processes across regions and functions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Monitor global procurement performance and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and value creation.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field with a focus on S2P processes, system administration, and procurement operations.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards and Oracle preferred) and S2P platforms and the ability to lead system configuration and optimization initiatives.
  • Expertise in master data management, process standardization, and procurement process governance.
  • Strong knowledge of global procurement processes, including purchase order management, supplier onboarding, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in leading process improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional, global teams.
  • Experience in managing procurement CoEs or similar centers of excellence focused on process improvements and best practice implementation.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or PMP are a plus.
