The Senior Project Manager, Technology Group is an integral part of our Digital Information Delivery team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.
Position Details
Phibro is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead the successful planning and delivery of complex, high-stakes, and highly visible strategic and operational IT projects across the enterprise. This remote role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a demonstrated record of leading large, cross-functional initiatives in changing or ambiguous environments, who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about driving digital transformation. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for stewarding projects through our process from concept to completion, and ensuring desired outcomes are aligned with Phibro’s broader technology and business goals. Our goal is to deliver projects on time, on budget, within scope, with quality, and with a high degree of stakeholder satisfaction—while protecting business continuity, managing risk, and realizing measurable benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead key stakeholders through the project chartering process, ensuring that business outcomes are defined, projects are aligned with Phibro’s broader technology and business goals/strategies, and projects are designed to be successful at the start.
- Lead high-level and detailed planning and delivery of IT and data-related projects, including scope definition, resource planning, and schedule management across multiple business functions, geographies and workstreams.
- Provide concise, decision-ready updates to executive sponsors and steering committees.
- Lead internal resources and third parties/vendors to successfully deliver projects as one team, including negotiating priorities, resolving cross-functional conflicts, clarifying accountability, and holding partners to commitments.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques; evaluate business impact, present options and trade-offs, and drive timely decisions in a changing environment.
- Ensure approved quality testing practices are planned and followed, including acceptance criteria, operational readiness, cutover planning, and contingency plans that protect business continuity.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Document and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary.
- Successfully manage relationships with key stakeholders by building alignment among business, technology, data, security, compliance, finance, and vendor teams—even when priorities conflict.
- Drive process improvement to increase efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to plan stakeholder engagement, communications, training, adoption, and reinforcement so that delivered solutions become sustained ways of working.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure the organization is set up for success after the project is complete (e.g., ROI, benefits realization) by defining benefit owners, baselines, targets, measurement timing, and handoff criteria before launch.
- Formally close projects, including documenting lessons learned and key close conversations.

Education & Experience
- 8+ years of progressively responsible IT project or program delivery experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and demonstrated capability. Must include ownership of complex, high-stakes initiatives involving multiple business functions, senior stakeholders, significant dependencies, and changing requirements; experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or another regulated environment is preferred.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or comparable project/program management certification.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority, facilitate difficult decisions, and translate technical issues into clear business implications for senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and maintain sound judgment and delivery discipline during rapid change.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Demonstrated experience recovering a challenged initiative or navigating a major change in scope, timeline, funding, leadership, or business priorities; able to explain the decisions made and measurable results achieved.
