The Master Data Specialist is an integral part of our Finance team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.

 

Position Details

This role maintains the integrity of master data related to customers and vendors for North America locations.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Serve as the primary master data resource for North America locations
  • Assist in cleaning up existing master data and implement standardization requirements
  • Based on input from data requestors, create, amend, maintain or terminate master data
  • Inform requestors and data users to support master data workflows as necessary
  • Provide regular master data reports for internal control purposes
  • Ensure the timely delivery of high quality master data for internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze issues reported by data users
  • Ensure all work complies with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Assist in the evaluation of aspects of master data
  • Assist in OFAC compliance
  • Set up new employees in Concur Expense Reporting System

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of data entry in accounting systems
  • Experience with JD Edwards accounting system is a plus
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Experience working with multiple locations across an organization
  • Experience in documenting policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
