The Master Data Specialist is an integral part of our Finance team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.
Position Details
This role maintains the integrity of master data related to customers and vendors for North America locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary master data resource for North America locations
- Assist in cleaning up existing master data and implement standardization requirements
- Based on input from data requestors, create, amend, maintain or terminate master data
- Inform requestors and data users to support master data workflows as necessary
- Provide regular master data reports for internal control purposes
- Ensure the timely delivery of high quality master data for internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze issues reported by data users
- Ensure all work complies with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Assist in the evaluation of aspects of master data
- Assist in OFAC compliance
- Set up new employees in Concur Expense Reporting System
Key Competencies
Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of data entry in accounting systems
- Experience with JD Edwards accounting system is a plus
- 2+ years of work experience
- Experience working with multiple locations across an organization
- Experience in documenting policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
