The Manufacturing Systems Analyst is an integral part of our Operational Systems team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.

 

Position Details

This position will report to Director of Enterprise systems and work closely with the IT Director of Supply Chain and Operational systems, along with plant users and IT staff. This role will provide digital solutions for Phibro manufacturing. In addition to, working closely with plant, support functions (Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain, Finance) and management to identity, assess, build and support digital solutions that will improve manufacturing outcomes. This person will be an advocate for greater standardization and adoption of these solutions while providing digital leadership, guidance and drive best practices. 

Key Responsibilities

  • All global locations. 
  • Provide analysis and work closely with plant management to drive digital solution deployment and support.   
  • Champion best practice and improvement opportunities to maximize our current systems portfolio, including the use of JDE for manufacturing resource planning, production scheduling, etc. 
  • Understand and drive digital solutions for shop floor systems and their integration, including process control systems, LIMS, QMS, Barcoding & Labeling. 
  • Understand and drive integration of manufacturing systems with supply chain logistics, product costing and manufacturing accounting systems. 
  • Maintain process and system flow diagrams as artifacts that drive user process understanding and adoption at each site.  
  • Comply with change control procedures and data governance requirements. 
  • Manage projects. 
  • Understand production support and issue resolution impacts for each plant.

Education & Experience

  • At least 7 years JDE functional system and implementation experience in Manufacturing.
  • At least 5 years industry experience, at least 7 years ERP experience, at least 7 years BA experience.
  • PMP certification or strong project management skills 
  • Experience or knowledge of SDLC concepts. 
  • Ability to translate and build functional requirements based on user expectations. 
  • ERP Manufacturing Experience - Work Order Processing through Manufacturing Accounting 
  • Production, Inventory Management, and Material Requirements Planning experience is required.
  • A deep understanding of manufacturing shop floor systems, including process controls systems, LIMS, QMS, Barcoding and Labeling, etc. 
  • Finance & inventory cost accounting skills are a plus. 
  • Able to work closely with vendors, suppliers, and consulting resources. 
  • Understands and advocates use of inventory integrity reporting resolution. 
  • J. D. Edwards Enterprise One Release Experience with 9.0 and higher releases experience is required.
