The Executive Account Manager is an integral part of our Sales team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.

 

Position Details

An executive account manager will create demand and add value through consultative and technical selling with key influencers and decision-makers in the beef industry.  Parties would include feedyard managers and key personnel, independent and/or feed company salespeople and/or nutritionists, and other influencers from current customers or distributors. Achieve budgeted sales and gross margin for Phibro product portfolio, while effectively managing the expense territory budget. Lead the sales efforts for Phibro product portfolio.  This position territory will support beef customer across the Texas panhandle and Western Kansas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Phibro resources and training to develop working knowledge of beef  and mineral product portfolio by:
    • Comprehending the scientific principles behind each product and their application
    • Positioning features and benefits to meet customer needs
  • Be present at trade shows and industry events to build Phibro brand and grow in professional knowledge, experience, and relationships.
  • Provide product support for customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of Phibro products.
  • Must be able to manage all available resources for business growth and retention.
  • Provide input to business directors, product director(s), and finance partner for:
    • Pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution.
    • Input on sales support materials needed in the field.
    • Report on industry, customer, and competitive trends within assigned area.
  • Proactive and consistent use of Phibro’s CRM system.

Education & Experience

  • B.S. in animal science/animal nutrition with beef experience, or other agriculture related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years industry experience in sales position requiring portfolio and value selling, product support, and collaborative approach with preferred experience in beef and/or feed industry.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of nutrition industry network including;
    • Beef producers
    • Feed and premix manufacturing companies
    • Nutritionists
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, customer relation management (CRM) software.
  • Must reside in assigned geography and be willing to travel up to 50%.
