The Director New Business Development is an integral part of our Business Development team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ site.
Position Details
The Director of Business Development will drive the strategic growth initiatives of the organization by identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities across key markets. This role will focus on building strong partnerships, enhancing market presence, and driving revenue growth through innovative strategies and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Director will work closely with executive leadership to align business development objectives with the company’s long-term strategic goals. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and alliances to drive revenue and market share.
- Lead negotiations and manage key partnerships, alliances, and business agreements.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and business cases for potential business opportunities.
- Create and implement customer acquisition strategies to drive sustainable growth.
- Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and build relationships.
- Establish and track KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the success of business development initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals to ensure high performance and goal achievement.
- Provide regular updates and presentations to the executive team on business development activities, pipeline, and results.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Animal Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development, preferably in a global or multi-national organization.
- Proven track record of identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities.
- Experience in the Animal Health industry, specifically focused on the livestock sector.
- Experience across multiple species (e.g., cattle, swine, poultry) with knowledge of animal health products including MFAs (Medicated Feed Additives), nutritional supplements, and vaccines.
