The Quality Control Intern is an integral part of our Quality team based out of our US - State College, PA site.
Position Details
This position is a Summer Internship. Interns at Phibro will get a great hands-on experience in a real work environment. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Quality team to support the day-to-day operations of the lab, including:
• Sample grinding
• Solution Preparation
• Labeling of samples and glassware
• Feed lab administrative support
• Cleaning and preparation of lab instruments and glassware
• Non-release / stability sample preparation
• Assist with metrology functions
• Other general lab functions as needed
Skills that will be developed:
- General laboratory techniques
- Glassware Preparation
- Introduction to GMP environment
- Multiple interactions with lab staff on a daily basis
- Evaluate ability to learn new techniques and seek out information.
Education, Experience and Skills required
- Rising Junior or senior pursuing a BS in a scientific field
- Strong academic record
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn
