The Senior Network Computing Services Engineer is an integral part of our Network and Computing Services team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.

 

Position Details

The Senior NCS Engineer is expected to provide a wide range of services. Services are on a global scale, with particular emphasis on maintenance of user accounts and support of virtual and stand-alone server infrastructure. The below statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by team members fulfilling this role. Key Responsibilities

  • Active Directory Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain Active Directory structures that align with organizational requirements and best practices
  • User and Group Management: Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to network resources
  • Email Management: Configuring and managing email services, including mailbox creation, message traces, retention policies, SPF, DKIM, DMARC configuration and policies, distribution lists, and spam filtering
  • Administer and support core Microsoft and Citrix technologies. Provide top level global support of all Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, Azure, Exchange
  • Administer and support Citrix server environment. Support application management in Citrix environment. Monitor and maintain Citrix servers, publish applications, content, and desktops to users in Citrix Management Console
  • Assist in management and support of internal and external DNS systems
  • Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures
  • Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
  • Upgrades and Patch Management: Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure the security and performance of the Active Directory environment
  • Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained
  • Develop new system and application implementation plans, custom scripts, and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred
  • Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired
  • Proven experience as an Active Directory Administrator in a large enterprise environment
  • Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration experience is required
  • LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting) experience is required
