The Production Technician is an integral part of our Manufacturing team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.

 

Position Details

Phibro Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications including wastewater, soil/ground water, industrial and consumer products, poultry, and agriculture.  We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our Production group in this full-time, entry-level position.  This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with some mandatory overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation, care and routine maintenance of production processing equipment
  • Assembly and disassembly of valves and manufacturing equipment
  • Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between each production run.
  • Accurately weigh raw material for production
  • Operates forklift to move and store raw materials, in process, and finished goods.
  • Participate in inventory counts
  • Must be able to perform daily duties safely in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety 
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
  • All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)

Required to bend frequently
Required to use hands constantly
Perform repetitive motions during shift
Good hand/eye coordination
Required to lift or carry 21 to 50 lbs
Required to push or pull 21 to 50 lbs
This position is designated as a "SafetySensitive Position".
Required to squat or kneel frequently
Able to stand for more than three hours at a time without a break
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, hair net, beard net, face mask, foot covers, lab coat, and protective footwear.

Education & Experience

 High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
