The Production Planner is an integral part of our Supply Chain team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.

 

Compensation range for this position is $55,000.00 -$70,000.00

 

 

Position Details

To plan production to meet forecasted sales, manage the material requirement plan (MRP) to support the production plan and interface with production facilities and internal PAHC functions to insure product availability.  Confirm and plan raw material and packaging supply inventories to support production plan.  Coordinate communication between manfacturing teams and commercial groups to insure adequate and timely raw material, intermediates and finished goods inventories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain production schedules that satisfy sales requirements
  • Plan and maintain the MRP plan to support production
  • Interface with production facilities to manage the day-to-day production planning operations
  • Follow up with internal PAHC functions to insure product availability
  • Manage actual versus planned production
  • Contact for internal customers on order related activities
  • Complete ERP system transactions for production manfacturing, purchasing and order fulfillment
  • Generate daily status reports for managers
  • Monitoring the status of production to ensure timely deliveries
  • Plan materials usage to support planned production

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Inventory availability to meet forecasted sales volumes and plan
  • Maintain planning system, current plans, inventories and receipts
  • Interface with external/internal manufacturing functions to insure availability of supplies and production line time to meet requirements
  • Coordinate activities/involvement of other internal PAHC function involved in planning issues
  • Process inventory related transactions in ERP system..timely and accurate
  • Maintenance of JDE files as required
  • Develop 12 month rolling production and material requirement plan
  • Expedite/follow up on orders as needed
  • Monitor available inventory versus demand at warehouses (daily)
  • Assist manufacturing in coordinating material needs for validations, scale up's, production transfers, etc.
  • Daily/weekly/monthly comparison of forecast versus actual sales
  • Daily/weekly/monthly comparison of planned versus actual production
