The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of our Maintenance team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.
Position Details
Osprey Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications including wastewater, soil/ground water, industrial and consumer products, poultry, and agriculture. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our maintenance team in this full-time position. This position will be responsible for the safe and overall efficient operation of the production line equipment, tow motors, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices and safety procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on interior and exterior
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment (tow motors, pumps, compressors, rotating machinery, boilers, cooling towers, etc.)
- Perform special maintenance projects including welding, electrical, mechanical assembly and carpentry
- Assist in training employees on SOP’s, tasks, etc.
- Assist on capital, environmental and process improvement projects as needed
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
Key Competencies
Skills
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
- HazMat experience a plus
