The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of our Maintenance team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.

 

Position Details

Phibro Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications including wastewater, soil/ground water, industrial and consumer products, poultry, and agriculture.  We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our maintenance team in this full-time position.   This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm, with some weekend work and OT potential.  This position will be responsible for the safe and overall efficient operation of the production line equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all facilities utilities
  • Perform equipment preventive maintenance
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot motors, switches, control components, solenoids, etc.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship
  • Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 8 hours
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
