Candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot and repair general electrical and mechanical equipment.  Experience in plumbing, HVAC and facilities maintenance a plus.  Must be able to work in confined spaces and lift 50 pounds.

The [[Maintenance Technician]] is an integral part of our [[maintenance]] team based out of our [[Sarasota, Florida]] site.

 

Position Details

The position will be responsible for the safe and overall efficient operation of the production line equipment, tow motors, and facilities. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow safe work practices and safety procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance on interior and exterior
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment (tow motors, pumps, compressors, rotating machinery, boilers, cooling towers, etc)
  • Perform special maintenance projects including welding, electrical, mechanical assembly and carpentry
  • Assist in training employees on SOP’s, tasks, etc.
  • Assist on capital, environmental and process improvement projects as needed

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility
  • HazMat experience a plus
