The Fermentation Technician - Tech 1 is an integral part of our Manufacturing team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.

 

Position Details

Phibro Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications including wastewater, soil/ground water, industrial and consumer products, poultry, and agriculture.  We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our fermentation group in this full-time, entry-level position.  This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, with some weekend work and OT potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation, care and routine maintenance of production scale fermentation and culture processing equipment
  • Assembly and disassembly of valves, equipment, and fermentation tanks
  • Cleaning and sanitation of valves, equipment, and fermentation tanks
  • Accurately weigh raw material for production
  • Accurately log and record data
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematic functions
  • Must be able to perform daily duties safety in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety 
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
  • All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)

Education & Experience
