The Plant Services Assistant is an integral part of our Maintenance team based out of our US - Omaha, NE - Vaccines site.
Hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
Position Details
The Plant Services/Facilities Maintenance Associate is an integral part of our Facilities team based out of our Phibro Vaccines Omaha office in Omaha, NE The Plant Services/Facilities Maintenance Associate will be responsible for day-to-day operations, and back up to maintenance of facilities. Requirements include lifting up to 70 pounds, computer skills, and basic math skills.
Key Responsibilities
- On occasion, perform Plant Services Assistant duties when needed. (Cleaning, Moping, trash removal of general areas)
- Perform daily assignments directed by Facilities and Maintenance Manager and work in conjunction with other Plant Services/Facilities Maintenance Associates when needed.
- Keep exterior grounds clear of trash and clutter.
- Notify Facilities and Maintenance Manager concerning the need for repairs and/or additions to building and operating systems.
- Notify designated contact for the replenishment of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

Assist in the handling of facility repairs such as carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.

Back up for all security systems maintenance in the facilities and be on call for security system. Responsible for setting alarms in both buildings at days’ end.

Back up for maintaining facility equipment (fire sprinkler system, fire extinguishers, HVAC systems, generator, etc.) and scheduling routine inspections and maintenance programs for such equipment.
- Assist with set up and tear down of meeting rooms for company meetings as needed.
