The Maintenance Tech. is an integral part of our Maintenance team based out of our US - Omaha, NE - Nutritionals site.
Position Details
The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of our Production team based out of our Omaha, NE office. Maintenance Technician specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
- For the safe and overall efficient operation of the production line equipment, tow motors, and facilities.
- Follow safe work practices and safety procedures outlined by Phibro Animal Health Corporation
- Follow quality procedures and work instructions
- Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on production line equipment, tow motors and prescribed by PM schedule.
- Capable of performing special maintenance projects including welding, electrical, mechanical and carpentry skills
- Assist in training employees on appropriate SOP’s and tasks.
- Perform housekeeping and general cleaning duties as assigned to enhance plant and employee safety
Other Duties
- Special projects and duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Key Competencies & Requirements:
Experience
At least 2 years
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
Technical Business
- Has in-depth knowledge of maintenance processes including electrical, mechanical, and welding
- Understands engineering drawings and schematics
- Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office programs
- Capable of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in plant and office
- Takes personal responsibility for the safety and quality of self and PAP employees
- Ability to operate industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other types of moving equipment.
