The customer service associate is an integral part of our Customer Service team based out of our Omaha, Nebraska site.

 

Position Details

This position will provide sales support and superior customer service to account customers and staff. The successful candidate will provide relentless dedication to understanding customer needs and expectations through education, problem solving and communication. They will develop and grow business while building customer relationships based on mutual trust and respect and provide industry leading fulfillment accuracy, flexibility and innovative service solutions. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate order entry/fulfillment and procurement services to meet customer requirements
  • Promote customer loyalty by consistently delivering quality products
  • Confirm transportation arrangement for shipment of materials
  • Communicate customer activity with sales representatives
  • Interface with appropriate internal functions to ensure processes are synchronized
  • Support and respond to product inquiries/requests from both prospective and current customers
  • Perform cold calls and conduct telephone market surveys when needed
  • Manage/maintain associated databases necessary to support customers

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree is desirable
  • At least 3 years of customer service or sales experience
  • At least 2 years of ERP experience, JDE preferred
