The Finance Business Partner is an integral part of our Finance team based out of our Italy site.
Position Details
Position Purpose:
This is a newly created position that will support the Phibro European Operations Center in the daily operations in Finance with global interactions including USA, Middle East & Asia. Phibro Europe is experiencing an exciting growth phase including the recent acquisition of a new business unit. This position will play a key role within our finance team in Europe.
On the finance side:
Responsible to submit financial reports to corporate during monthly, quarterly & yearly close. Additionally accountable to complete the reconciliation of company activities (e.g. sales, inventory transactions, cash). Overall responsibility for ERP system (JD Edwards) including updates, maintenance and adherence to local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end to end supplier/receivable set up in compliance with SOX requirements.
• Complete treasury forecast.
• Lead the inventory reconciliation and issue the Corporate Month End Report.
• Perform the Intercompany transactions to completion and issue the Month End Report.
• Execute, as applicable, processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable management, bookkeeping entries, closing the books monthly as well as preparing financial reporting and analysis.
• Submit the Finance Month End Report as: PPE Rollforward, Rent Month End information, Cash file situation, Corporate reporting requests
• Administer finance dossier to support the local management.
• Support the implementation of Peppol (Digital Invoice system) in Italy and Belgium
• Collaborate with our European Commercial teams through timely and effective communication.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Finance, Accounts or Administration Degree Qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a multinational company.
• French/Italian and English languages are mandatory, any other additional language is an asset.
• Interested in working with small local team with a lot of interactions with Regional European & Global colleagues.
• Experience with ERP i.e. JD Edwards, SAP is an asset.
