The Regional Manager MAGREB West Africa is an integral part of our Management team based out of our Remote Europe, Belgium - Wavre site.

Regional Manager, Maghreb/ West Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Regional Manager will be responsible for maximizing the potential of Phibro’s current product portfolio, including managing $5 million in sales across Maghreb & West Africa. This role involves overseeing Phibro’s established business through a network of distributors, ensuring strong performance and growth of existing product lines, including the newly acquired MFA and water-soluble antibiotics from Zoetis .
Looking ahead, the Regional Manager will also play a critical role in driving ambitious growth by identifying and creating new opportunities. This includes launching and expanding Phibro’s vaccines portfolio in the region and leading the introduction of new product lines, such as planned poultry launches. The position offers the opportunity to not only strengthen the existing business but also significantly contribute to Phibro’s international expansion and long-term growth strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preserve and strengthen existing strong, trustworthy relationships with distributors to ensure alignment with Phibro’s business objectives and drive sustained success.
- Monitor distributor sales performance to meet and exceed targets, providing support and guidance to maximize results.
- Identify and establish new distributor relationships when necessary or to capitalize on new opportunities, ensuring Phibro’s growth and market expansion.
- Develop and implement comprehensive customer level strategies that will maximize revenue and profitability of the entire product portfolio.
- Lead product planning and launch strategy in alignment with global marketing and regulatory teams.
- Provide marketing support and deliver best-in-class technical service to distributors and key customers, ensuring alignment with sales activities and overall business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and customers, ensuring clear communication and providing timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Oversee and manage budgets and financial performance for the territory, ensuring a thorough understanding of key financial and performance metrics to drive strategic decision-making and achieve business objectives within the region.
EDUCATION
• Degree in Veterinary medicine, Nutritional or other or other relevant animal science degree.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial role, especially in poultry health/ nutrition within Maghreb &Africa regions.
• Proven track record of successful strategic account/ distributor management and developing business in international markets.
• Previous experience managing similar sales volumes with growing demand.
• Experience and good understanding of poultry industry and production
• Successful launch of products in different segments

• Professional level English & French is required.
• Strong B2B Commercial skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop strong professional relations with business partners/ distributors/ customers across multiple countries and cultures.
• Must be willing to travel at least 40% of time.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
• Strong work ethic & flexibility to work across differing time zones.
• Well organized leader who can influence, lead and drive processes, projects and issue resolution.
