Job Summary:
The EMEA Logistics Lead will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions within our animal health company. This role demands a strategic and hands-on approach to ensure efficient and effective supply chain management, supporting our commitment to improving animal health.
Key Responsibilities
•    Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise the supply chain across EMEA.
•    Oversee the daily operations of the supply chain team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers (order to cash).
•    Coordinate with internal departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
•    Manage relationships with third party logistics (3PL’s) to ensure service level agreements are met.
•    Working with 3PL’s, carriers, and other vendors to secure favourable rates and terms. 
•    Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and using data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation and implementing corrective actions as needed.
•    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the EMEA regions.
•    Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
•    Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in logistics and supply chain management.
Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management with proven track of improvements and with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
•    Experience in animal health, pharmaceutical industry or related industries is highly desirable.
•    Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management principles in a highly regulated environment.
•    Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team across multiple regions.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Fluency in English and French; additional languages relevant to the EMEA regions are a plus.
