As part of our continued expansion in Europe, Phibro is excited to announce the opening of a Finance Specialist position at our office in Wavre, Belgium.
About the Role: This newly created position will be instrumental in supporting Phibro’s European Operations Center during an exciting phase of growth. The role will play a key part in the administration of financial processes and contribute to the success of our expanding operations, including the integration of a new business unit.You will report directly to the Finance Director and be a vital member of our finance team, handling a variety of responsibilities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Process supplier and receivable invoices in our accounting system (JDE).
•    Monitor and reconcile supplier/receivable payments and cash transactions.
•    Review and match expense reports with supporting documentation.
•    Oversee inventory reconciliation and generate monthly reports.
•    Manage intercompany transactions and prepare related month-end reports.
•    Compile and submit finance-related month-end reports, including PPE roll-forwards, rent data, and cash status reports.
•    Provide administrative support to local management and assist with ongoing finance projects.
•    Contribute to the implementation of finance operations in Italy and Belgium.

Qualifications:
•    A degree in Administration, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
•    Accountancy qualification is a strong plus.
•    At least 3-5 years of experience in finance, ideally within the nutritional, veterinary, pharmaceutical, or medical sectors.
•    Proficiency with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP is advantageous.
•    Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and with external partners (sales, technical specialists, warehouse, customs, transport, etc.).
•    Fluent in French and English; additional language skills are a plus.
•    A valid driver’s license is required.
