The Project Management Office (PMO) is an integral part of our Engineering team based out of our Ireland - Sligo site.
Position Details
The PMO will support long-term project execution by providing structured project governance, integrated scheduling, portfolio coordination, reporting & support. The role will help ensure that site projects are planned, prioritised, tracked, and delivered in a consistent manner, with clear visibility of milestones, dependencies, risks, resources & impacts to manufacturing operations.
The PMO will work closely internally & externally to maintain integrated project schedules, coordinate governance routines, support prioritisation decisions & provide timely reporting. The role will play a key part in enabling effective decision-making across the site project portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, maintain & monitor integrated project schedules across assigned site projects & workstreams.
Work with project teams to define milestones, deliverables, dependencies, critical path activities, risks, actions & decision points.
Generate & maintain an integrated site project schedule, ensuring alignment with other project work, site priorities, resource availability & manufacturing constraints.
Partner with base business planners & site stakeholders to minimise disruption to the commercial Plan of Record & manufacturing operations.
Track & communicate milestone delivery, beneficial use, project readiness, schedule changes & key governance decisions.
Prepare project governance materials, dashboards, status reports, action logs, risk registers, issue logs & decision records for leadership review.
Facilitate project governance meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting outputs, action tracking, escalation points& follow-up.
Support project prioritisation by providing data-driven insights on schedule impact, resource constraints, risk exposure, interdependencies & business priorities.
Maintain consistency of project management tools, templates, reporting standards & PMO ways of working across the site project portfolio.
COMPETENCIES
Understanding of PMO practices, project governance, integrated scheduling, project controls, portfolio reporting & milestone tracking.
Ability to work effectively across multiple projects, stakeholders, governance forums, deadlines & competing priorities.
Attention to detail with experience maintaining project schedules, dashboards, risk registers, action logs, issue logs & decision records.
Reporting and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex project information into clear updates for leadership & cross-functional stakeholders.
Organisational, planning, time management & prioritisation skills, with the ability to drive actions & follow-ups to completion.
Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify schedule risks, resource constraints, interdependencies & escalation points.

Written and spoken English.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Third level qualification in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Science, Operations, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a PMO, project coordination, project controls, planning, engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated site environment.
Experience supporting long-term projects, capital projects, site project portfolios, integrated schedules, governance routines, project reporting, risk management & stakeholder coordination.
Knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, project governance, project controls, reporting tools, risk & issue management, & manufacturing site operating requirements.
