The Shipping and Receiving is an integral part of our Warehouse team based out of our US - Omaha, NE - Vaccines site.

 

Position Details

This position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Print and prepare labels, postage and other supporting documentation to prepare materials for shipping. Ensure label and tamper-proof bottles are secured for product shipments. Become trained and maintain authorization for the shipping of hazardous materials.
  • Verify and utilize carriers that have the lowest shipping cost. Maintain computer programs for accurate shipping records on all carriers.
  • Support shipping department in the shipment packaging, preparation, loading, and unloading of supplies and product.
  • Deliver or route materials to proper departments using company truck, forklift, or carts. Check product against packing lists, match with correct purchase order numbers, and enter items into JDE System.
  • Assist with product inventory in cooler by organizing and maintaining shelf-life rotation and available storage containers.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
